Applied Music is designed to educate you further in the instrument of your choice, support a major, and continue pursuing a passion for music. You'll develop skills and learn techniques to improve your performance as a vocalist or instrumentalist. Applied Music focuses on music techniques and methods, and pedagogy and includes one-on-one online sessions with a mentor. Applied Music is also available to non-music majors.

MENTORS MAKE IT HAPPEN
One-on-one instrumental and vocal instruction for students with no or previous musical experience. Meet with your private mentor for four 30-minute lessons per semester for online instruction. Pick your mentor based on your previous experience and level, and on your musical preferences.
